Brief Overview

The environmental cost stemming from current conflicts is being swept under the rug, neglecting the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda. In a brief overview, disagreement and ego cause political and ideological assumptions that have guided currents of thought to be disregarded, eroding the possibilities of governance in some nations.

We are faced with the narrow-minded and limited thinking of billionaire elites who pretend to close their eyes to science, evidence of the disorder experienced in the Anthropocene, which is justified by arrogance in the face of the possibility of one day inhabiting a new planet, similar to Earth.

In this context, ecology, which seeks knowledge of the “home,” as well as economics, cannot assert itself with the knowledge of the importance of nature, which increasingly makes the planet uncomfortable for humankind. It is the lack of harmony between humans and nature that prevents our species from becoming the most intelligent on the planet.
