We all know the price paid for trying to perpetuate the linear economy, a fact linked to the reactionary movements of those who live in denial. Trying to convince people that environmental and social issues are superficial is a recurring theme as attempts are made to connect Sustainable Development with the so-called woke agenda.
It doesn’t take much effort to perceive the desire for a relaxation of issues related to Sustainability, attempting to disconnect human life from nature. It is in this context that it becomes necessary to “balance the plates” so as not to neglect biodiversity, energy transition, circular economy, and all the necessary changes in production and consumption.
However, addressing the ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) theme with greater awareness demonstrates lucidity regarding the connection between Sustainable Development and the materiality necessary to make Sustainability credible.
