Harmonizing the relationship between human beings and the environment is one of the main challenges of our time, considering the current dependence on the extent to which humans harm nature and are impacted by an unbalanced interaction.
It is in this sense that we should remember the Greek origin of the word ecology, which initially means “study of the home” (“oikos” means home and “logos” means study), clearly conveying the message of a planet that has as a role be our home, being studied and understood to provide an improvement in the relationship between Earth and human beings.
As a result, sobriety in understanding the environment in its different dimensions plays a decisive role in the future of our species, which must always think about treating the Earth in a collaborative manner with green aspects, avoiding the drastic effects of an era called the Anthropocene due to the decisive influence of humans on the scenario of climate change.
