Souns of Sustainability

The perceptions about the natural, artificial, cultural and work dimensions are extremely important, considering that they belong to the environment. Considering these feelings, it is easy to notice the decrease in noise pollution during the social isolation, already pointed out in studies. Such a situation puts humanity to seriously reflect on what kind of daily life it adopts and what kind of “thing” should be given a high value.

Suddenly, sounds that were submerged can be noticed, sounds that come from birds, trees that produce harmonic sounds with the swaying of their branches, little noises that awaken us to  the reality that make us get closer to nature after the storm we find ourselves.

Thus, the feeling of well-being related to the decrease in the sounds produced by human activities causes an automatic reassessment of the life led by human beings, a fact that may, after the end of the pandemic, contribute to the adoption of a different type of life, different from what is led today in big cities.
