Global Warming

Limiting the acceleration of temperature increase so that it is preferably up to 1.5º C above the average of the pre-industrial period (1850 to 1900) is our biggest challenge in the face of climate change, being one of the most representative pillars of the famous Paris Agreement, signed in 2015 by 195 countries, imposing bold goals on the world.

Meanwhile, according to recent results from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, we have already reached the mark of 1.1º C above the pre-industrial era, a fact that reveals the will of many to obtain advantages by already admitting that the target has not been reached, seeking to commercialize solutions reactive to the unfavorable outcome.

However, the search for a low-carbon economy by 2050, which helps limit global warming, moves our world towards a purposeful behavior that manages to break down walls of opportunism that worsen the planet’s climate and increase the number of environmental disasters such as fires and floods, affecting the level of life on Earth.
