Remembering the relevance of water resources only in times of scarcity is not a way of recognizing the weight of the existence of these assets for life, it is just the opposite, considering the different reasons for favoring good management.
When delimiting borders, waters often separate, however, we must remember that they can unite peoples through aquifers, which do not “respect” political divisions with their groundwater. Thinking about water management means thinking about clean energy, about basic sanitation, admitting that it is a preponderant item to achieve Sustainable Development.
The rational use of these resources implies an increase in food production, consequently, a reduction in poverty and child mortality. The water crisis is repeated and shows a weak point, reinforcing the need to deal with urban drainage, treatment of what is called grey water, monitoring of the oceans, not forgetting the educational aspect involved in the theme.
