The year of 2020 made Sustainability one of the most important elements for strategic level of companies, as well as for the life on Planet Earth. Considering how import they are in decision making processes recognized by the most relevant asset manager called BlackRock, Sustainability turned into a determinant to the 21st century capitalism.
Basic sanitation had its new legal framework approved in Brazil, an episode that tends to positively influence the country’s performance in indicators of the global objectives of Sustainable Development (SDGs), not forgetting the fact that the pandemic has highlighted the need to solve sanitation issues worldwide.
Events that triggered mobilization in favor of social equality cannot be ignored, with the greatest exponent being Black Lives Matter. From a climate perspective, the problem of fires that occurred mainly in Brazil, the United States and Australia left the alert for compliance with the Paris Agreement as a priority for 2021.
