A “friend” that used to be so present in our daily tasks since the most simple thing to the very complicated good, the plastic lives days when its use is under questions, however, the products which use it must be projected considering its appropriated destination.
Its current reputation as an environmental villain has been spread by the fact that our three oceans fall victim to the improper destination of an exorbitant amount of this material, which constitutes huge dumps in waters around the world, bringing environmental impacts of the most diverse, considering that it takes long time for its degradation.
It turns important that the society provide support for research and development that can lead us to different alternatives for the several types of plastic material. At the same time, questions envolving the increase of the plastic recycling are directly linked to our behaviour, a fact eggs us on thinking about the conscient use of plastic.
